Rumors on the internet seems to say Youtube will keep 40% of the advertising fee. All estimated numbers. No one knows for sure.
In comparison, Apple was estimated to take 30% of an app revenue, though that number has done down.
What the take home pay means: Youtube and other platforms like Youtube will take a cut for generating traffic and community support for your videos and a commission for connecting you with advertisers.
